Nowadays, species are going extinct because of the
climate change. Polar bears are an endangered species because they
could disappear by 2100 due to melting ice. In the wild, we can only
find between twenty-two hundred and thirty-one hundred individuals.
However, a new study suggests the Arctic species are at risk of being
starved into extinction by the end of the century.
Polar bears have long been the poster children of the consequence of
climate change and greenhouse effect. As sea ice continues to vanish
due to increasing temperature, these Arctic species have to be more and
more persistent to find food.
Indeed, Polar bears primary food are seals and with the absence of ice,
some of them walk on the roads to hunt seals.
